Trophy Course Hunters LLC, (“TCH”) is aware of your care and concern as to how your personal information is used and shared, and we take your privacy seriously. This information will explain the TCH privacy policy. By visiting or using the TCH website, TCH’s services, TCH’s applications, TCH’s products, and any other linked pages, features, or content offered from time to time by TCH in connection therewith (collectively, the "Service"), you acknowledge that you accept the practices and policies outlined in this Privacy Policy.

Highlights of the Trophy Course Hunter Privacy Policy:

  • By using the TCH Services, you have consented to: (1) the use of your mobile device's location to provide TCH’s services including relevant advertisements, and the display of that location information to the TCH community (privacy settings can be managed in your ‘edit profile’ section); (2) receive emails; and (3) pay carrier data and other fees resulting from TCH usage.
  • In most cases your TCH Service activity is broadcast to the wider TCH community, by default privacy settings (e.g. showing your name in the ‘who’s here’ list after someone checks in to a given place). You may choose to prevent TCH Users outside of your “groupies” from viewing your TCH activity. This can be done in your ‘edit profile’ section on the Trophy Course Hunters website. TCH Course Operators will continuously see user activity.
  • You can choose to broadcast your TCH Service activity to third party services like Facebook or Twitter. If you wish to stop those broadcasts, you have full control on what TCH Service activity is broadcast to third party services such as Facebook and Twitter.
  • Please note that any personal information you voluntarily disclose online becomes publicly available, and can be read, collected, and used by others and could be used to send you unsolicited messages. TCH is not responsible for the information that you choose to disclose publicly on or through the TCH Services.
  • By using the TCH services you consent to receiving promotions, offers, and communications from Course Operators. These special transmissions are made available on the TCH website, TCH application, and through push notifications on your mobile device. You may turn the push notifications off through your phone settings.

This information will be collected through User Input, Cookies, User Service Activity.

What information do we collect?

We collect information from you when you register on our site, place an order, subscribe to our newsletter, respond to a survey, fill out a form, sign up for our product, use our product, sign up for our services, use our services, or purchase apparel.

When ordering, registering, or using our site, product, apparel, or services as appropriate, you may be asked to enter your: First and/or Last name, e-mail address, mailing address, phone number, credit card information, bank account information, gender, date of birth, geo-location, picture, username, password, golf course reviews, ratings, tips, Facebook account name and password, Twitter account name and password, communication with TCH staff and other members, and a short biography. We may also collect your IP address and use information. You may, however, visit our site anonymously.

Information Collected Upon Registration:

When you create or reconfigure a TCH account, you provide some personal information, such as username, password, date of birth, picture, age, and email address. Some of this information, for example, username, is listed publicly on our Services, including on your profile page and in search results. Some Services, such as search, public user profiles and viewing lists, do not require registration.

What About Cookies?

  • Cookies are alphanumeric identifiers that we transfer to your computer’s hard drive through your browser to enable our systems to recognize your browser and tell us how and when pages in our site are visited and by how many people. TCH cookies do not collect Personal Information, and we do not combine the general information collected through cookies with other Personal Information to tell us who you are or what your screen name or email address is.
  • Most browsers have an option for turning off the cookie feature, which will prevent your browser from accepting new cookies, as well as (depending on the sophistication of your browser software) allowing you to decide on acceptance of each new cookie in a variety of ways. We strongly recommend that you leave the cookies activated, however, because cookies enable you to take advantage of some of our Service’s most attractive features.
  • Ads appearing on the Service may be delivered to users by our advertising partners, who may set cookies. These cookies allow the ad server to recognize your computer each time they send you an online advertisement to compile information about you or others who use your computer. This information allows ad networks to, among other things, deliver targeted advertisements that they believe will be of most interest to you. This Privacy Policy covers the use of cookies by TCH and does not cover the use of cookies by any advertisers.

Sharing of Your Information Using the Service

  • The Service is primarily designed to help you share information, including where you are, where you have been, golf scores, and accomplishments with others. You can control your information through your privacy settings accessible through the ‘Edit Profile’ section once you’re logged into the TCH website.
  • Information you submit to the Service will be available to users of the Service, unless otherwise changed by you in your privacy settings. Your name and profile picture thumbnail will be available in search results across the Service network and those limited pieces of information may be made available to third party search engines. This is primarily so your friends can find you and send a ‘Groupie’ request.
  • Please remember that if you choose to provide personal information using certain features of the Service, that information is governed by the privacy settings of those particular features and, unless selected otherwise, may be available to the wider TCH community or may be published on the TCH website, services, and products, which are subject to indexing by third party search engines. Individuals reading this information may use or disclose it to other individuals or entities without our control and without your knowledge. Therefore, we urge you to think carefully about including any specific information you may deem private in forums or other user-inputted content that you create in the Service (location or otherwise).
  • The Service allows you to connect with certain third party services (e.g., Twitter, Facebook and other similar services). When you broadcast information to such third party services, such information is no longer under the control of TCH and is subject to the terms of use and privacy policies of such third parties. Additionally, certain information may be made available to third party developers using our Application Programming Interface (“API”) if you or your ‘Groupie’ uses third party applications developed by such third party developers. Use of third party applications developed using our API are subject to the terms of use and privacy policies of such third party developers. You should be aware that such third party applications may expose user locations in broad and creative ways and some third party services may permit you to make your information publicly available and accessible by everyone on the Internet. You can control whether your TCH activity is broadcast to third parties through your privacy settings.

Will TCH Share Any of the Personal Information it Receives?

  • Personal Information about our customers is an integral part of our business. We neither rent nor sell your Personal Information to anyone. We may share your Personal Information only as described below.
  • Golf Course Operators (“Course Operators”): We are affiliated with a variety of Course Operators, and work closely with them. In certain situations, these Course Operators provide offers, promotions, and communications to you through TCH’s Service. Course Operators have access to the following user information: Personally Identifiable Information (Geo-Location, Picture) and any and/or all Non-Personally Identifiable Information.
  • Agents: We employ other companies and people to perform tasks on our behalf and need to share your information with them to provide products or services to you. Unless we tell you differently, TCH’s agents do not have any right to use Personal Information we share with them beyond what is necessary to assist us. You hereby consent to our sharing of Personal Information for the above purposes. Agents have access to the following user information: All Personally Identifiable Information except for (Credit Card Information, Bank Account Information) and any and/or all Non-Personally Identifiable Information.
  • User profiles: User profile information including user name, geo-location, Age, Golf Course User Reviews, Golf Course User Ratings, Golf Course User Tips, Interaction between TCH Users, User Golf handicap information, and any and/or all Non-Personally Identifiable Information will be available to the entire TCH Users and Course Operators. Privacy setting can be adjusted in ‘edit profile’ to only allow Course Operators and your TCH groupies to see your TCH activity.
  • Communication in response to User Submissions: As part of the Service, you may receive from TCH, email and other communication relating to your User Submissions. You acknowledge and agree that by posting such User Submissions, TCH may send you email and other communication that it determines in its sole discretion relate to your User Submissions. TCH may also use your email to send you updates on when your ‘Groupies’ check-in, when you receive a new ‘Groupie’ request, or a TCH newsletter – however.
  • Promotional Offers: As part of the Service you may be exposed to offers on behalf of Course Operators.
  • Invitations: When you invite someone to join the TCH community, please be aware that we will disclose your username, as an invitation containing your username will be sent to the email address of the person you wish to invite. This information is necessary to make sure your invitee knows who has contacted them. To build a community based on trust and empathy, we feel this disclosure is necessary.
  • With Your Consent: Except as set forth above, you will be notified when your Personal Information may be shared with third parties, and will be able to prevent the sharing of this information.
  • Non-Private or Non-Personal Information: For clarity, we may share or disclose your non-private, aggregated or otherwise non-personal information, such as the number of users who checked in at a particular location (even if only one did).
  • Other Uses: Trusted third parties who assist us in operating our website, conducting our business, or servicing you, so long as those parties agree to keep this information confidential may be supplied with this personal information. We may also release your information when we believe release is appropriate to comply with the law, enforce our site policies, or protect ours or others rights, property, or safety.
  • TCH does not use your personally identifiable information or location information to send commercial SMS text messages to you without your express consent or unless if you have opted-in to be part of a specific program or feature in accordance with the applicable TCH Services consent procedures.
  • Payment Gateway Providers – All supplied sensitive/credit information is transmitted via Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology and then encrypted into our Payment gateway providers database only to be accessible by those authorized with special access rights to such systems, and are required to keep the information confidential. Payment Gateway Providers have access to the following user information: Personally Identifiable Information (First and Last Name, Date of Birth, Email Address, Mailing Address, Phone Number, Credit Card Information, Bank Account Information, IP Address.

Is Personal Information About me Secure?

We implement a variety of security measures to maintain the safety of your personal information when you place an order or access your personal information.

We offer the use of a secure server. All supplied sensitive/credit information is transmitted via Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology and then encrypted into our Payment gateway providers database only to be accessible by those authorized with special access rights to such systems, and are required to keep the information confidential.

After a transaction, your private information (credit cards, social security numbers, financials, etc.) will not be stored on our servers.

Your TCH account Personal Information is protected by a password for your privacy and security. You need to prevent unauthorized access to your account and Personal Information by selecting and protecting your password appropriately and limiting access to your computer and browser by signing off after you have finished accessing your account.

TCH endeavors to protect user information to ensure that user account information is kept private, however, TCH cannot guarantee the security of user account information. Unauthorized entry or use, hardware or software failure, and other factors, may compromise the security of user information at any time.

The Service may contain links to other sites. TCH is not responsible for the privacy policies and/or practices on other sites. When linking to another site you should read the privacy policy stated on that site. This Privacy Policy only governs information collected on the TCH Website, Products, and Services.

What personal information can I access?

TCH allows you to access the following information about you for the purpose of viewing, and in certain situations, updating that information. This list will change as our Service changes.

DELETING YOUR ACCOUNT

Should you ever decide to delete your TCH account, you may do so by contacting your local site administrator, or by clicking on the “delete your account” link on your account settings page. If you terminate your account, your profile, including any messages in your inbox and any promotional offers you received, will be removed from the site and deleted from TCH’s servers. Because of the way we maintain TCH such deletion may not be immediate, and residual copies of your profile information or posts may remain on backup media.

What Choices Do I Have?

  • As stated previously, you can always opt not to disclose information of use, and restrict what users or entities may view your information, even though it may be needed to take advantage of certain TCH features.
  • You are able to add or update certain information on pages, such as those listed in the “What Personal Information Can I Access” section above. When you update information, however, we may maintain a copy of the unrevised information in our records.
  • You delete your account via your account settings page. Please note that TCH will need to verify that you have the authority to delete the account, and some information may remain in our records after deletion of your account.
  • If you do not wish to receive email or other mail from us, please indicate your preference during the registration process, by making a modification on your account settings page. Please note that if you do not want to receive legal notices from us, such as this Privacy Policy, those legal notices will still govern your use of the TCH Service, and you are responsible for reviewing such legal notices for changes.

Business Transfers: In the event that TCH is involved in a bankruptcy, merger, acquisition, reorganization or sale of assets, your information may be sold or transferred as part of that transaction. The promises in this privacy policy will apply to your information as transferred to the new entity.

California Online Privacy Protection Act Compliance

Because we value your privacy we have taken the necessary precautions to be in compliance with the California Online Privacy Protection Act. We therefore will not distribute your personal information to outside parties without your consent.

As part of the California Online Privacy Protection Act, all users of our site may make any changes to their profile information at anytime by logging into their account and going to the 'Edit Profile' page.

Childrens Online Privacy Protection Act Compliance

We are in compliance with the requirements of COPPA (Childrens Online Privacy Protection Act), we do not collect any information from anyone under 13 years of age. Our website, products and services are all directed to people who are at least 13 years old or older.

Protecting the privacy of young children is especially important. For that reason, TCH does not knowingly collect or maintain personally identifiable information on the TCH Services from persons under 13 years-of-age, and no part of TCH Services is directed to persons under 13. IF YOU ARE UNDER 13 YEARS OF AGE, THEN PLEASE DO NOT USE OR ACCESS THE TCH SERVICES AT ANY TIME OR IN ANY MANNER. If TCH learns that personally-identifiable information of persons less than 13-years-of-age has been collected on the TCH Services without verifiable parental consent, then TCH will take the appropriate steps to delete this information. If you are a parent or guardian and discover that your child under the age of 13 has obtained a TCH Services account, then you may alert TCH privacy@trophycoursehunters.com and request that TCH delete that child's personal information from our systems.
